Online Classes: Must be booked 30 minutes prior to the start of class.

LONG AND STRONG

Hatha Style

Currently no scheduled classes. 

All levels welcome but geared toward Beginner and Intermediate Levels

60 Minute Class

A popular, more gentle style yoga class designed to explore postures for longer periods, focusing on the breath and allowing various levels of a pose to be discovered.  Both mat work and standing postures will be performed during this class. 

Items to have at home for Online class: Mat, Water Bottle, Strap (a necktie or dog leash works just as well), a Block (can be purchased at Dollarama and it’s always nice to have 2 blocks), and a Small Blanket

Studio: If you have arranged an in-studio class at Soaring Yoga, these items will be provided for you.  Extra mats are limited so if you have your own mat, please bring it along with your water bottle.

SUNRISE AND SHINE YOGA

Vinyasa Style

Currently no scheduled classes. 

All levels welcome but geared toward Beginner and Intermediate Levels

45 Minute Class

If you are an early riser and like to begin your day feeling energized, this is your class.  We will work together with breath and movement waking up the body and revitalizing the mind.  This class is performed at a quicker pace and will get your blood flowing with some Vinyasa Flow. 

Items to have at home for Online class: Mat, Water Bottle, Block (can be purchased at Dollarama and it's always nice to have 2 blocks)

YOGA MASH-UP

60 Minute Class

This class is for the Yogi who can’t decide which class they love best.  Is it Hatha, Vinyasa, Yin Style or Restorative?  Maybe you love them all or just want to try them all and want a class that incorporates a bit of each style.  If so, this class is for you!

Items to have at home for Online class: Mat, Water Bottle, Strap, Bolster (cushions or pillows work too) 2 Blocks (can be purchased at Dollarama), 2 Small Blankets, and some wall space if you have it.

ROLL AND RELEASE

Fascia Release with Restorative Yoga

Currently no scheduled classes. 

All levels welcome

60 Minute Class

This Roll and Release class is the perfect yin and yang class.   We will start the first half of the class with some myofascial release, rolling out and breaking up tissue that surrounds the muscles and relieve tension in those tight areas.  The last half of this class we will focus on restorative poses that allow the body to rest, heal, and restore its’ balance. 

Items to have at home for Online class: Mat, Water Bottle, Tennis Ball or Lacrosse Ball, Golf Ball, Foam Roller (can be purchased at Dollarama), Bolster (cushions or pillows work too) 2 Blocks (can be purchased at Dollarama), 2 Small Blankets, and some wall space if you have it.

Studio: If you have arranged an in-studio class at Soaring Yoga, these items will be provided for you.  Extra mats are limited so if you have your own mat, please bring it along with your water bottle.

YOGA NIDRA

Sleeping Yoga
Available by Request

This class is the perfect way to end a hectic week and help calm the mind with just enough mat movement to settle into your most comfortable space.   While in this space, completely relaxed but fully conscious, I will talk you through a set of verbal instructions that softens the mind and body falling into what’s called, Yoga Nidra, or Sleeping Yoga.  Essentially this is a guided meditation class that you will absolutely love. 

Contraindications: Although Yoga Nidra is safe for nearly everyone, it is not recommended for those suffering from or diagnosed with severe trauma, severe depression or severe mental health illness unless advised by their physician.  The practice of Yoga Nidra may amplify these emotions.
